Titanium Flange

Titanium Flange

Short Description:

Titanium flange are one of the most common used titanium forgings. Titanium and titanium alloy flanges are used a lot as pipe connections for chemical and petrochemical equipment. It has low density and performs impressively in corrosive environments. We carry the standard forged titanium flanges up to 48” NPS (ASME/ASNI) with pressure rate from Class 150 through Class 1200. Customized flanges are also available by providing the detailed drawing. Available Specifications ASME B16.5 ASME ...

Example Applications: Slip-on, blind, weld becks, orifice, and lap joint flanges

Titanium flange is a kind of part made of non-ferrous metal titanium or titanium alloy that connects the pipe to the pipe, and is connected to the pipe end. It can be cast, threaded or welded. The flange connection consists of a pair of flanges, a gasket and several bolts and nuts. The gasket is placed between the sealing surfaces of the two flanges. After the nut is tightened, the specific pressure on the surface of the gasket will deform when it reaches a certain value, and fill the unevenness on the sealing surface to make the connection tight and leak-proof. Its common grades: TA0, TA1, TA2, TA3, TA9, TA10, TC4 and so on.

The function of each flange of different materials is different. Titanium flanges have excellent corrosion resistance in many media. Acid and alkali resistance, long service life, low density, high strength, equipment weight, smooth surface, no dirt, and greatly reduced dirt coefficient. Widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, metallurgy, chemical fiber, food, pharmaceutical, chlor-alkali, vacuum salt production, fine chemical industry, biological engineering, seawater desalination, marine engineering and other industries.
